Inspirational Manchester-born jazz trio GoGo Penguin are heading to Albert Hall on the 2nd of December, for a much-anticipated hometown show, as part of their super limited UK tour, which sees just two exclusive shows at our venue and in London, with support from Daudi Matsiko! As such, we’re so excited for the show that we just had to know more about the group and what makes them tick, especially following the release of their gorgeous new album, Necessary Fictions.
Need to know all you can about a musician? Why there’s no better way than looking at their current favourite tracks, which is why we asked the trio to curate a special playlist for us…
Here’s what they’ve crafted: Thanks to Albert Hall for inviting us to create a playlist; it’s always fun to put together a new mix. These are a few tracks that we’ve been listening to lately, some new discoveries amongst a few old favourites. We hope you enjoy it.
