The Festive Happening is now a Manchester musical tradition, flocking to the Albert Hall from the Christmas Markets, imbibing mulled wine and mince pies as you go perhaps, but most definitely there to enjoy some world-class music at the most wonderful time of the year. This year sees us collaborate with our new artistic partners AMC Gospel Choir who brought the gospel vibes last year and had us all dancing in our seats.

A group from our Camerata in the Community programme will also help to spread the Christmas joy by performing a new song that they have created alongside our musicians. Get ready to sing.

Seating At Manchester’s Albert Hall

The stalls are located on the first floor and the balcony on the second, with stair climber access for wheelchairs only. The seating in the balcony takes the form of stepped risers with no backs, and whilst these offer spectacular views of the hall, please feel free to bring a cushion for added comfort if you wish. Chaired seating is provided in the stalls. Within each price band area, seating is unreserved and so will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, seat numbers displayed on the booking website do not apply.
