Following the fully sold out Hacienda Classical event in Castlefield that day, FAC 51 The Hacienda returns to Albert Hall on Saturday 2nd July with another mega line-up. Detroit’s techno innovator Derrick May will be joined by Manchester’s A Guy Called Gerald and acid house legends Justin Robertson & Jon Dasilva.

Derrick May has defined electronic dance music and is responsible for “Nude Photo”, “Kaos”, “It is what it is” and of course,”Strings of Life” which was inspirational in the acid house revolution. Joining Derrick is A Guy Called Gerald who’s similarly respected for his early production skills of “Voodoo Ray” and “Pacific State” through to “Black Secret Technology” and the “Live in Session” series. We can’t wait to see him return to Hacienda which played such an instrumental part in his early career.

Completing the line-up is Justin Robertson & Jon Dasilvawho renew their long association with the club, city and Manchester’s thriving music scene. Justin’s eclectic and diverse tastes continues to mark him out as a finely crafted DJ and producer. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for us this July! Completing the line-up is Jon Dasilva who wrote the soundtrack for FAC 51’s acid house adventure and who was a huge influential figure in the journey of the club. With a string of cutting edge remixes and productions spanned across labels including Get Physical, Rush Hour, Soma, Mute and Deconstruction, Jon’s expansive DJ sets demonstrate his wide musical tastes and expert ability.

Last entry is 00:30 to accomodate those coming straight from the Hacienda Classical event at Castlefield Bowl.
