FAC 51 The Haçienda return to Albert Hall with another top-class line-up on Friday 24th March featuring house legends Kerri Chandler and Derrick Carter.

Having a brought a succession of the best American DJs to the venue so far including Frankie Knuckles, Danny Tenaglia, David Morales and more, March’s party is no exception with Delano Smith making it three US DJs on a bill that also features The Hacienda’s Mike Pickering and Jon Dasilva.

House icon and inspiration, New Jersey’s Kerri Chandler has become one of the foremost originators of house music.  His DJ’ing appearances see him perform and remix live, and he will be adding to his Albert Hall by playing keyboards into the mix.

Meanwhile, born in the Chicago House scene, Derrick Carter was instrumental in creating his sound and has built himself a reputation as one of the true underground pioneers. Considered as an inspiration to other DJs, Derrick’s sets are legend for his range of records and innovative mixing.

One of Detroit’s early and original DJs, Delano Smith, merged early electronica with the sounds of the city. Coming back to the decks around a decade ago, he has forged a great reputation, infusing that style with house and techno grooves whilst his production work as “Delano” has won admiration and acclaim world-wide.

Derrick, Kerri, and Delano are joined by The Hacienda’s Mike Pickering and Jon Dasilva rounding up a stellar line up for its first Manchester event of the year.
