SHOT LIST 33: JOHNNY MARR

Published Category Reviews

Last week we welcomed Manchester legend Johnny Marr into the Hall with open arms. His latest and third solo album – Call the Comet (2018) was described by NME as “bold and inspiring” and they weren’t wrong. Marr’s latest music is a love song to an alternative future; merging melancholic tunes with a current, political undercurrent. His sincerity doesn’t go unnoticed and we are basking in the glow of Call the Comet, waiting for what Marr’s got up his sleeve next.

Marr gave us two thrilling nights of top quality, northern alternative-rock, and to say thanks we’re going to pick our favourite shots of the night and pop them on our blog.
