Band Of Skulls have just announced a new string of headline shows across the UK including a night at The Albert Hall on 21st October! Tickets go on sale 10am on Friday 22nd April. The new dates are in support of their brand new album ‘By Default’, due for release on 27th May!

Produced by Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters, Patti Smith), and recorded at Rockfield Studios, ‘By Default’ is the sound of a group on the verge of something great, at the sharpest point in their career to date. The follow-up to 2014’s ‘Himalayan’, the new record came about via a conscious decision from the band to take a step bakc from their relentless touring schedule after having never spent more than a month off the road in the last two years. The upcoming live shows will be the first airing of the new material.

“It’s definitely a new era,” says Russell Marsden (guitar, vocals). “The first three records were like a trilogy, a piece of work in themselves. We wanted to do those things, and we did them all. Wee took a breath, took a look at what we’d done, and started from scratch again.”
